Patent Watch
Every month, Agrow Intelligence publishes a patent watch for the benefit of
its subscribers. The “patent watch” is based on patent applications
published starting from the first day and up until the last day of each
month. These are selected according to the following criteria, where a:
- Pesticide: is a product non-specific of pest targeted
- Insecticide: is a product targeting insects (as well as mites and nematodes)
- Herbicide: is a product targeting unwanted grass or broadleaf weeds
- Fungicide: is a product targeting unwanted fungi or bacteria
- Plant Growth Regulator: a product that regulates plant growth in a crop production area
- Insect Growth Regulator: is a product that controls growth of insect eggs, larvae, or insects for a crop protection purpose
- Pesticide patents that are not related to crop protection (such as patents concerning products for infrastructure, manufacturing sites, houses, hospitals, pets, animal parasites, etc…)
- Patents involving insect repellents

- Patents about processes and methods of a general nature
- Biocides
