Syngenta has entered into an agreement with the US seed company, Beck’s Superior Hybrids (Atlanta, Indiana), to market Syngenta’s genetically modified insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant Agrisure maize hybrids under the new Phoenix brand. The UK agrochemical development company, Eden Research (Finstock, Oxfordshire), has entered into a regional licensing agreement with Environmental Solutions North Africa (ESNA) for Eden’s terpene-based pesticides. The deal covers professional applications in Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
